This is the last post of the I Love Me Series. Meet Tara. I secretly call her my “fit-blog” twin. This beauty started her weight loss journey a little while back and with all the turns of events happening in her quite so busy life she manages to stay positive through it all. She blogs about the thoughts we’re all thinking as we enter the gym & the truths of this weight-loss world while managing to keep a positive and inspirational tone to her post! She was perfect for this interview!
Occupation:Currently looking for a new job. Also a student, studying Graphic Design & Marketing.
Your Passion: I love love love home décor & being crafty. I’m also pretty passionate about my blog/weight loss journey.
Random Fact: I’m realllllllllllly scared of bugs.
Do you think you have great self-esteem?
I’m definitely working on it. For someone who’s very overweight at the moment, I think I do “okay” with self-esteem but I’m still very aware of what others think about me and I let my weight hold me back from a lot. When I was a more average weight, I possessed quite a bit more self esteem but still didn’t let it shine through. Right now, I’m working on finding the things I love about myself and letting any and all talents peak their heads out. It’s not all about looks.
What do you think is the most attractive thing about you?
Non-Physically: I think I’m funny and in general, pretty kind.
Physically: I love my eyes and most of the time, hair.
Quick! You’re having an ugly day but you have a long day ahead of you. What would you do to snap out of it? Remind myself that there’s always someone who has it worse and tell myself to be thankful.
Share one tip to the readers who are trying to work on their self-confidence:
Love yourself. Take care of your body. Treat self-confidence like it’s a plant and tend to it every day. It will grow everyday if you take care of yourself.
Yetti’s Comments: Really loved the last quote! It’s kind of hard to be patient with all types of progress. I’ve learned through the last couple weeks, whether its dealing with weight-loss, break-ups, the working world or yes, my self esteem, you have to take it day by day!
Readers Questions: What do you do to tend to your plant (goals) on a daily basis?0
