Yetti how’s the gym?
I can come up with roughly 24 excuses as to why I haven’t been consistant with the gym. My apartment issues, new projects at work, on top of packing and the launch of Boost Your Self-Esteem month for She’s A 10 def. has consumed my time… but if I wanted to make the time for the gym… I would have. After all, I have made time for everything else. It’s something about working out in front of my coworkers I just do not like to do. The ideal time to work out is after work, but then having to take the train home not looking so…. decent bothers me.
(I can hear you all screaming, Yetti suck it up, be quiet already.)
Sometimes I honestly just do not know where to start. I know the process. Cardio, weights, classes, protein shakes, 6 small meals a day. But starting (going down stairs, changing into gym clothes in front of old naked ladies)… that’s my damn issue.
So it’s time for a mini challenge like this one.
- I am aiming for 4-day workout weeks between in gym workouts and at home workouts.
- I am planning out meals beforehand for the week.
- I am aiming to lose 4lbs this month… to get me back to my 132lbs. (Do.not.ask / weight now matters)
So here’s to succeeding in my challenge, and here’s to hopefully getting back into the swing of things… while packing, and moving, and working late, and everything else that just so happens to be bombarding my life RIGHT NOW AS I TYPE.
