So far this week I have burned 1660 calories. My goal until my birthday is to hit 3000 every week, but running doesn’t seem to burn as much as the other nonsense I put myself through. I know the aim to get into a lifestyle, make it a full blown change… but I have needs. Birthday needs. Yettember will not be ruined because Lionel, my tummy, wants to invite himself to play. So I have started the craziness to hit the goal of a flatter tummy (which I’ve heard can only be made in the kitchen… I’m getting there). Oh… and I am also training for a 5K.
Did I ever mention that running is the devil? The shin splints, the soreness, the loss of breathe, the finding a rhythm. All of it. All the devil’s work.
Goals for the rest of the month:
- Lose at least 2 inches from my waist
- Drink more water
- Sleep more.
- Maintain workout schedule.
