So you missed the deadline for the summer body, but it’s not too late.
Every year I set a challenge for myself to get into shape for the summer. I invite my readers to join in with me, I try to track my progress on le blog and I encourage you all to share your progress with me. Since summer has already began, let’s move towards simply getting into shape. Now this challenge started a little earlier for me, and was more centered on getting back into a healthier lifestyle. My best-friends and I have been taking pictures, recording our progress daily (myfitnesspal for the win) and motivating each other to keep going and to not eat the extra goodies in our offices. This month and next month we are challenging ourselves to fit into a goal dress / jeans / etc. We’re inviting you guys to join us.
This challenge will be running from July 14th to August 31st, roughly 6 weeks for us all to make a little bit of progress. Now I know you’re thinking “What’s the point?” but I’ve found it easier to lose weight within a community. You will not depend on them to help you, but they will hold you accountable for the weekly challenges, you own personal fitness goals, and your healthier meal choices.
Not to mention the incentives.
There will be a giveaway every two weeks if I can get at least 5 people outside of my best friends to join. I’ll be using Rafflecopter to keep it completely random but there will be some rules on how you can submit an entry. [This needs to be done because their are people who literally search the web all day for giveaways and then submit to them. It’s not fair to you guys.] Prizes will include gift cards and a workout / meal plan personalized to you from Jazzy Fit.
Please don’t worry, everything will be set to your OWN pace. You essentially control your challenges!
So how can you participate? Simple. I’ll step you through it.
T W O | Pick out the item: Dig in your closet for that dress that used to fit yesteryear, for the jeans that will no longer contain all that junk, or treat yourself to a little something in the store. Make this item you goal item.
T H R E E | Participate: Make sure to check out the weekly challenges (including workouts from bikini fitness competitor Jazzy Fit). Not only that, you will be expected to show me some proof that you’re on track with the challenge. Their will be check in items with each weekly challenge!
F O U R | Follow: I’ll be tracking my progress with this challenge on my Instagram & Facebook as long with my best-friends! Pictures, mini-updates to show you that we are sticking to it too! We’ll be using the hashtag #ysfitinit, feel free to use this too so we can comment and like your updates!
