Sometimes you need to take a break from the typical routine, willingly or in my case, forced. I managed to get 3 workouts in this week before my body gave out on me. With a mixture of medical issues and pure fatigue I took a break from pretty much everything last week. Shoutout to the wonderful ladies who participated in my “Phenomenal You Series,” it was such an honor to have them grace YS.COM, not to mention they helped dose you guys up while I took a mini hiatus. Many kisses.
But back to life’s pause button, it’s always there when you need it. I think the issue with us 20-something-yr-olds is that we either abuse this button, or avoid it like the plague. I fall into the latter category. This fear of being complacent and letting life pass me by sometimes cripples my progress. I tend to pile more onto my plate than the average 25-yr-old and this week it triggered every emotion, symptom, sign and all of the above.
This week I’m feeling much better, a lot more relaxed and less stressed. I’m trying to follow the orders of taking it easy (with a very persistent David monitoring my moves). I do plan on getting back into my routine of working out, working and working off of a newly modified to-do-list. One that allows for sleep and some downtime. I can’t wait to share with you all what I’ve been working on!
Below are my stats for last week, and I completed my goal of attending Hot Yoga.
