Your life is not over despite what you were told. Your life will change significantly but it’s not the end, you are just beginning. You have so much life ahead of you, so much to look forward to, so much to learn, and so much to experience. This is a beautiful time in your life that you will never forget. You have been blessed to embark on an immensely transformative and beautiful journey. As you venture into parenthood, you will become wiser, more mature, and more resilient.
You will endure some bruises along the way, you will make many mistakes and you will ask yourself, many, many, times along the way, “What am I even doing?” You’ll feel like you lost your sense of purpose, but you never really did, life’s purpose isn’t always groundbreaking. Resist placing timelines and expectations on your life. Stop expending so much energy and time comparing yourself to others. We all have to weather storms and drought and understand when we’re in season in each area of our lives. Don’t wish away this current season for what may never come.
Stop living life as if everything depends on you, because it doesn’t. So don’t worry so much, don’t carry so many burdens, don’t adopt so much fear and responsibility.
You came into this world to enjoy life and have an impact on the lives of others. You didn’t come to sacrifice your happiness for the sake of other people’s opinions and ideas of you or what you should be doing. Don’t deprive the world of you. You are a person of value.
Live life! Life doesn’t end at 25 or 30. Stop fixating on what you don’t have, or where you should be, start appreciating what you do have and what you’ve accomplished. You’ve done much more than you’ve imagined so ease up on yourself, ok? Embrace what is happening now, embrace where you are now, embrace your journey, embrace you! For you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
The future will come in time, you can be sure of that, and girl let me tell you, you are nothing short of amazing. You are love you are light. Your cup will never be empty. Your drive, determination, perseverance and integrity will reward you.
Again, I remind you to embrace you! And Lo, don’t allow perfection to get in the way of progress.
The phenomenal woman you’ve become.
