this week a woman in the grocery store touched my hair. i slapped her. not because she touched my hair, but because she scared the shit out of me, and i forgot i was in a red state and was ready to protect myself.⁣⁠

i'm always a little skeptical of wearing my hair out, but yesterday? i felt gorgeous. unstoppable. even with the stares.⁣⁠

for my birthday last month, i treated myself to a card reading from @kalyncoghill where she pulled cards that all had the same message: ⁣⁠

▪️ i received a nasty gram last week wednesday, telling me I shouldn't be in business if my products are always going to be out of stock. of course, it fueled my imposter syndrome, but bestie and the w(cubed) groupchat helped nip that in the bud. i will be completely honest, i am a little behind on YS, Inc stuff, but orders on the old cards are being shipped this week and i'm slowly finding my footing here in AZ. i'm showing myself some grace here because still operating while moving cross-country is fucking hard work.⁣⁣⁠

▪️ still do not have a routine or a gym yet, but i managed to find a new home for my nails and a new lash tech. yes, these things matter.⁣⁣⁠
