That’s me from last Saturday… after sulking for an hour on why my clothes just didn’t feel as comfortable anymore. I’m not quite sure why it’s so much harder this time around, but it’s really taking more of a mental effort to get the ball rolling on my clean-eating and exercising regimen. But one thing I did realize I was lacking was a plan. Going through my posts from 2011 I realized that I had a weekly plan. I knew exactly what I was eating for the week, and exactly what days I would be working out. That I do not have right now. I’ve been trying to pencil things in within my hectic work schedule and it’s just not working out the way I need it to, so I decided to commit myself to a plan for the next 60 days.
Yes, I am doing insanity. I’m only 4 days in but I feel as though all the characters in the bible have done a Riverdance routine all over my body. It’s definitely pushing me to my limits, but one must do what they need to do to rejoin the Skinnydom (Skinny + Kingdom, get it!? Never mind.) And I will not lie, I do feel a little discouraged when I cannot keep up with the video, but I’m trying to turn that into motivation. Not only that, I have a wonderful support system via friends enduring the pain with me and the random facebook comments. Check it out!
