I know I’m a little late, 8 days late, but I wanted to set the tone for the month on the blog.
I’ve set up yet another posting schedule and I plan on sticking to it. There will be honesty, there will be experiments, there will be videos and there will be Yettisms (cool huh?!). There are few things I want to touch upon that I’ve never had the chance to do before, such as fashion posts (bear with me, I am no fashionista). And to the person that asked that I incorporate more pictures and videos, I am on it!
New York TidBits
I very rarely show you my outings and findings in this beautiful melting pot of a city. I get so many questions asking me about “city-life” and recommendations of places to visit. I think it’s about time I provide you all with the “Yetti Guide to NYC”. But truth be told, I don’t really do anything spectacular in the city but this will force me to venture out more, and network… I suppose.
I can’t complain about being alone in NYC if I don’t do the necessary work to put myself out there right? I also can’t depend on my best-friend that just moved back to the east coast, approximately 48 minutes away by train. So I’ve set myself to go to a few networking events, reach out to the cousins I have near by and yes… Yetti is going on dates. Pray for me… and them.
Structure & Boundaries
I really want to conquer this work – life balance thing. I’ve spent more time worrying than anything else so far this year, and last month? Work dominated my life. Everyday is a constant struggle of trying to fit things in, I’m going to learn to allow certain tasks and events to take a back seat.
